The auto-sweep is easily turned off or ramped up with the Width knob too.

Manual controls the degree of pitch shifting. Width works in conjunction with the Speed control to set the time delay. Speed controls the speed of the time delay. And Regen adjusts the overall intensity of the effect. An awesome, multi-faceted pedal, the MXR Flanger Pedal provides everything from iconic flanger to full-on space exploration of the outer limits.
